Getting Your Contact Lenses
The Eye Exam
Eye exams are essential for fitting contact lenses. During your eye exam, we will assess your eyes to determine if they are suitable for contact lenses. We will also take a detailed look into your eye health and visual acuity.
While most people can wear contacts, certain factors like dry eyes, dry environments, allergies, and persistent eye infections can make wearing contact lenses difficult.
The Fitting
If you can comfortably wear contacts, we will fit you for lenses matched to your prescription and needs. We offer a range of specialty lenses for those with “hard-to-fit” eyes. Please check out our selection in our Specialty Contact Lenses section below.
The Trial Period
Once we’ve fitted you for your pair of contacts, we will provide you with all the information you need to ensure your contact lens experience is easy and comfortable. You will then be given a pair of trial lenses to wear for a few weeks, during which we will have a few routine eye check-ups to ensure your eyes are adjusting.
